Graphic Design Intern at Haliotis

"Haliotis Dive and Surf Adventures Peniche" is looking for a graphic design intern to join the team during the winter season.

We started the company twelve years ago with one dive centre in Peniche. Currently we have six dive centres around Portugal and its islands, a nautical school and a surf school and camp.

Start date: immediately

Duration: approx. 6 months

Working hours: 40 hrs. / week; 5 working days and two days off (normally on weekends)

Salary: unpaid

Responsibilities:

- graphic designer on updating current marketing and communication materials

- create posters and flyers for print and web applications

- assist in maintenance of website, as well as social media

- work together with the marketing team

- take pictures from our trips (if required)

Qualifications:

- design and layout skills

- understanding of relevant programs e.g. Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat)

- photography experience a big plus

- team player; good communication skills; creative; organised

- general knowledge about diving and surfing
